Here at The Shorty we have a strong focus on community involvement and relationships. We sponsor numerous events, social clubs and sporting teams. Each week we hold our HUGE meat & vege raffles which go towards helping these sporting teams with their uniforms, equipment, registrations and more.

Camels Softball Club
You’ll catch The Camels every week at The Shorty after their games. We wish them all the best in their 22/23 season!
Shortland Rugby League Football Club
Shorty Hotel has been sponsoring the Shorty Devils for over 40 years. The Club has always been involved within the Shorty Community and now with the addition of their women's team, the Club continues to grow every year. Blue drinks are our favourite part of their post-win celebrations.
Shortland United Junior Football Club
The Shorty Pandas have a strong relationship with the Shorty Hotel. Each week the Pandas hold their Thursday Night Meat Raffle from 6pm.
Wallsend Football Club
Playing out of the Zone League 1 division are the boys from Wallsend. With plenty of talent, they have a great squad and even better after-game celebrations back at The Shorty. Playing out of Cook Park Shortland, we look forward to an exciting season.
